SYNOPSIS

The storyline is about love, loss, and the fear of letting go. The fusion of contemporary rock music and the unique storyline of the uncertainty of life after death is certain to appeal to the general public.

To touch on the story line, leading man Vincent questions life in the ‘Rat Race’ searching to fight for equality amongst all people and to end suffering throughout the world. Of course he finds endless support from leading girl Emily who he falls head over heels in love with and by the end of Act 1 pronounces his undying love for.

Torn apart by a tragic unforeseen accident, Vincent finds himself caught in the Midworld - a world where lost souls feed. His fear and inability to let Emily move on means that together they are trapped within their own personal worlds of grief and the Creatures take hold of both these souls – Once united in their love, now emotionally torn apart by their grief.

The remainder of this exciting musical encompasses a struggle for Vincent’s own survival as well as that of his still grieving widow Emily. What happens at the end is something that is completely unexpected to the viewer however upon reflection places together each of the many pieces of the puzzle.

Being a locally written production which comprises two acts and lasting just over 2 hours long, this truly is an opportunity to be a part of a musical which has the ability to touch the world. We look forward to you starting the Creatures journey with us!
